Apply to the Sub-Internship
Our Commitment to Teaching & Training Future Family Physicians
Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine Residency offers rigorous full‑spectrum family medicine training within a mission‑driven, community‑focused residency program. Rooted in a strong culture of teaching and resident leadership, our program believes that excellent patient care is enhanced by physicians who teach and learn alongside one another, while actively addressing systemic inequities and racism in healthcare and society.
We are proud to offer 4th year medical students a 4-week, immersive sub-internship with our program. We believe that working with students is one of the ways we fulfill our mission of training family medicine doctors who reflect the community, provide excellence in clinical care, and prioritize social justice and antiracism work in their careers.
Students care for a diverse, underserved patient population and develop skills in patient‑centered, evidence‑based clinical decision‑making, documentation, and team‑based care. Through this experience, sub‑interns gain an authentic understanding of our commitment to clinical excellence, social justice, and training future family physicians equipped to serve their communities with compassion, advocacy, and leadership.
